Carla Rasmussen is a self diciplined, mixed media artist, currently residing in Maple Ridge, B.C.

After years spent behind the charcoal of a pencil, she extended her genre towards acrylic mediums and mixed media. Her studies in life drawing led her to the path of figurative nudes in her work, thus translating fragility, strength, and adaption from brush to canvas. Her work resonates with a dichotomy of emotion, allowing the viewer to create their own story within the work itself.
