My Sisters Wedding – Part 3
Sept. 14, 2010
The next morning….
I wake up in bed with a bad hang over. Some how I was able to shower the night before after playing in the pool. Taayla reminds me that we have brunch at 11:30am. I jump back in the shower to wake up, then get ready. We are the last ones to arrive to brunch. Everyone can tell I’m in bad shape. There is so much food to choose from and a chef cooking up omelets, any style made to order. The waiter is pouring champagne and the music is blasting. I’m trying to enjoy my food but all I can do is stare at it. It looks so good but my stomach is not agreeing with me.
I noticed the servers starting to close the black curtains. Weird, I thought. I was guessing maybe they were going to turn on the AC? The music bumps up 10 notches and the servers storm in with bottles and bottles of champagne with sparklers pierced into the corks. Girls start standing up on their chairs and tables and start dancing!!! Wow, the party starts again. People young and old, including my 73 year old dad, starts dancing. Girls started removing items of clothing!!! I was thinking to myself, why didn’t I take it easy last night so I could enjoy it now. It was a great wedding and an amazing way to end it off.
