I created these paintings by taking pictures. I took these one at my friends koi pond. Jack has a beautiful and large koi pond in has back yard, that he built himself. Some of his kois have been with him for over 15 years. They are some of the biggest and fattest fish I have ever seen. Koi fish in Asian culture are known to be lucky and prosperous. With all the images I took, I photoshopped the ones I like and directed my artist how to paint it (eg. Adding gold and silver leaf, texture…etc.)
